Soul Portals

Under the title "Seelenportale" I held an exhibition for the first time in the rooms of the Volksbank in Tirschenreuth from January 15 to February 15, 2016. On display were my self-painted pictures in acrylic technique, accompanied by my quotes from the spiritual world. This was followed by three more exhibitions at the Regionalbibliothek in Weiden in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

In December 2020, my long-standing wish to publish a book with the same title as a supplement to this finally came true. This contains mostly quotes and images, which were the most part also seen at my exhibitions.

 To give you an understanding of the term "Soul Portals" and what I mean by it, here is a short excerpt from my book of the same name:

"Know yourself!" - these words are said to have been found as an inscription at the entrance of the temple to the world-famous oracle of Delphi. For me personally this invitation is to be equated with "know your soul, your essence".

To realize who we are in our essence is one of the most important tasks in our lives. On the path to self-knowledge, the questions: Who am I? What do I want? and What is important for me in my life? are constant companions.

Now it is hardly possible for us humans, in our limitedness here on earth, to recognize our soul in its' essence in an all-encompassing way, but maybe a little bit. The path is lined with portals according to my pictorial imagination: soul portals. With every soul portal we pass through, we recognize ourselves a little bit more.
